The Heathcote club, which started back in 1994, is nestled in beautiful part of Victoria,with a mountain range as a back drop.

We are on the Northern Highway heading toward Echuca,the area was a gold area and in some parts gold is still mined.

Mr Les Roberts,who had taken lessons in Bendigo, thought that it might be a good idea to start a club in Heathcote, so he got in touch with Mr Jack Rozinszky, who put on a demo.

The clubs first instructors were Paul and Cheryl Smith who came from Bendigo,other instructors have been Tom Dunolly and Alex Forbes who helped out for a while.

Since the club started we have had students compete and do quite well ,for a small club that we are.

At Heathcote we offer Taekwondo as a martial art with fun in mind.
